Global Warming Meeting Online

The Oregon Global Warming Commission will meet Wednesday, June 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. online.

During the meeting, the commission will briefly discuss its future vision and operating procedures. The meeting will focus on discussion of Agency Implementation Plans related to Executive Order 20-04, particularly relating to the transportation and energy sectors. The Commission will discuss plans submitted by Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, Oregon Department of Energy, Oregon Public Utility Commission, Oregon Department of Transportation, Department of Land Conservation and Development, and the Statewide Transportation Strategy Implementation Group. This discussion will continue the Commission’s work to identify recommendations for inclusion in the 2020 Biennial Report to the Legislature.

The Commission is expected to vote on actions related to the commission’s vision and operating procedures at the meeting.

Members of the public are welcome to provide written comments for distribution to commissioners in advance of the meeting through the contact form online or by email (Oregon.GWC@oregon.gov) through June 17, 11:59 p.m. Time will be reserved at the meeting for additional public comment beginning at approximately 3:45 p.m.
