Rocky Habitat Meeting
The Rocky Habitat Working Group of Oregon’s Ocean Policy Advisory Council (OPAC) is scheduled to meet online on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2-3 p.m.
OPAC is considering the state’s new Rocky Habitat Management Strategy, with the working group being the OPAC members on the front line of the process, so to speak. The spring, first the working group, and then OPAC as a whole, will be considering citizen-based proposals for rocky shore “site designations”—areas of the coast with special habitat values worthy of special levels of protection.
A draft meeting agenda and supporting materials will be available via https://www.oregonocean.info/.
The meeting is entirely remote and online. To register and obtain connection details, go here.
